COLUMBUS, OH – The capital city has approved a $450,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, from a settlement ignited during her July 2018 arrest at a strip club known as Sirens Gentlemen’s Club. The settlement will be paid from the city’s general account.

Daniels has previously sued the city for $2 million before a settlement was reached months prior.

City Solicitor General Lara Baker-Morrish explains, “Due to the upcoming costs and expenses, as well as risks in litigation including paying the plaintiff’s attorney fees, the city agreed that entering into the settlement was in the best interest of the city and everyone involved.”

Stormy Daniels is famously known as the woman who had an affair with Donald Trump before he became president. She was arrested under the accusations of touching customers inappropriately.

These so-called customers were later identified as on-duty police officers. Although she claims the arrest was politically motivated.

Baker-Morrish goes on to add, “Ms. Daniels alleges her arrest was politically motivated and the Columbus officers were retaliating against her because of her affair with President Donald Trump.”

Furthermore, an investigation conducted by the Columbus Police Department was not able to obtain political motivations by the officers involved but were able to find the arrest was improper, nonetheless.

Meanwhile, Trump’s lawyers are trying to acquire $293,000 from the settlement for lawyer fees and a defamation lawsuit Stormy Daniels filed against the president.

“It was never about the money,” Daniel told reporters, “It was about changes that were made, and awareness of the law not written fairly. They targeted me and other women.”
