Lion Electric is doing it’s damnedest to bring all-electric school transportation to the school districts that need it. The electric urban vehicle manufacturer is looking to provide 10 LionC buses. As a result, Lion Electric will be known as a leader in electric school buses through all of North America.
How did Lion Electric get here?
Well, simply enough, there have been orders to bring electric school buses over for kids to transport by. This system is enough to cover 720 square miles and over 1,000 schools.
If that isn’t enough, then certainly the win here is having zero-emissions. I mean, we have children that are being raised to believe that there’s no better solution except for having a pollution-free Earth. Whenever the merger finishes, Lion Electric is looking forward to be listed as “LEV” on the NYSE.
Regarding the buses themselves, the LionC bus can push for about 155 miles on one charge and haul 77 passengers in no time. With speeds topping about 65 mph and an offering of 335 hp, who knows where it can go. Not to mention the school bus can also make for 1,800 ft-lb of torque. This is thanks to a 210 kilowatt battery. Also, the battery can charge at a level II caacity from 6.5 to 11 hours.
Isn’t that something? We need to raise our children to think more consciously of the environment they live in if they want to live a prosperous life. And that may mean taking time to understand how important it is to encourage zero-emissions. By doing this, we can save the Earth. For all future generations. It matters more than one would think. It’s just whether or not they will pass on the baton. That matters an incredible amount, wouldn’t you figure? I certainly believe so. It’s decisions like these that change the world as we know it for the better.
